One of the most useful and effective DMR hand-held I've used. DMR just in the UHF band, like my MD-380s and similar is a limitation when you have a VHF DMR access point locally, so having access to UHF and VHF is a boon. These are also just the right size, have decent RF performance and good quality audio, so it makes them a very handy device to have. This batch we've had in also come with two antennas - the usual one, plus a much longer flexible whip to give better performance. For me, I'll still go with the shorter normal one, but if you work away from people in the countryside, for example - it's handy to have.

The radio comes with a programming cable that works on windows 10 fine, and the software is readily downloadable online from  a number of sources. You will also find via Google, some rather handy code plugs written for specific repeaters, which is by far the quickest way to create one for the ones in your own area - that's how I programmed mine. Grab a fully featured one, then replace the repeater name, ID and contacts, adding your own names and frequencies. Comes with a really nice manual, charger  and all the usual bits.
