This is a Icom IC-M330G - VHF Marine band radio with built in GPS.

 

 

A solid, dependable VHF marine radio. Small in size but with easy access buttons to ch 16, and a simple up/down channel change. Favourite channels can be added to the memory and then the radio will scan them, stopping on activity. GPS built in so your exact location can be sent to other radios, and by the emergency button that adds your MMSI number  so the Coastguard know who you are, and where you currently are. A small GPS antenna plugs into the rear of the radio.

 

OFCOM will provide MMSI numbers included with the current free marine licence - so in an emergency, your details can be provided to the emergency services.

 

Has International channels, plus US and Canada if required.

Icom IC-M330G VHF Radio with GPS Ultra Compact Model

Icom have now entered the ultra compact VHF market with the IC-M330GE. This small space saving radio can now fit in those tight spaces where a traditional full sized radio cannot. It may be small in size but is certainly not lacking in features.

The radio monitors CH 70 continuously, even while you are receiving another channel. DSC functions include distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling request and DSC test calls.

 

Built in GPS Receiver and External GPS Antenna

The GPS receiver provides your location, bearing and speed by using information from GPS, GLONASS and SBAS. The acquired position information can be used for DSC calls. An external GPS antenna is supplied to maximise coverage.
